Smart City

Municipalities need efficient ways to protect urban ecosystems, identify and respond to climate risks as well as manage natural assets with limited time and resources. This innovation track explores how AI, geospatial data and environmental analytics can support practical solutions for these challenges.

AI for Ecological Resilience in Smart Cities

We work on digital applications that help cities monitor green infrastructure, detect changes earlier and improve the planning of maintenance and intervention measures. The track connects established methods such as GIS and geospatial imagery analysis with more innovative AI-based approaches.

This creates a space for solutions that link ecological sustainability with practical municipal use cases. It is particularly relevant for cities seeking to strengthen climate adaptation, biodiversity protection and data-informed urban management.
